I am a 63 year young LPN with 13+ years of nursing experience. I have worked one on one with patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, Lewy Body Dementia, MS, wound care, Hospice care, medication administration, post stroke one on one care, Parkinson's, IADLs/ADLs. I instructed CPR for the AHA. I believe that a safe environment is paramount. Seniors should have the peace and comfort to live out their golden years. My mother and brother needed Hospice and I watched the nurses. I saw the ones that cared and the ones that didn't. A year after my mother passed away, I left a lucrative position in finance to return to school to become an LPN. I want to make a difference. I will prepare meals, help with feeding, do light housekeeping, run errands, play cards or games, it's important my client is happy and comfortable. I am comfortable with animals and prefer they not be caged while I work. I am happy to care for their needs during my time with your loved one.
