About Sandra

I have never been paid to take care of an elderly person. However, my mother, who was my best friend, lived with my children and me for the last four years of her life. I cared for her in many ways, including dressing, her diabetic wound, meal preparation, transportation, conversation and companionship, as well as hospice care at the end of her life in my home, so I feel that I am well equipped to care for someone who is aging and/or ill.
