About Sandra

I'm an experienced educator passionate about helping students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and reach their full potential. Throughout my career, I've worked with diverse learners and have extensive experience adapting instruction to meet individual learning styles, needs, and language abilities. I have particular experience supporting English language learners and creating engaging, accessible learning experiences. My background includes classroom instruction, differentiated instruction, curriculum development, and developing district-wide curriculum, including ESOL courses aligned with English 1 and 2 skills. My tutoring approach is patient, encouraging, and personalized. I believe students learn best when they feel supported and understand that making mistakes is part of the learning process. My goal is to help each student not only improve academically, but also become a more confident and independent learner.
