About Sandra

Hello, I'm Sandra. I would love the opportunity to care for your loved one with patience, respect, and genuine attention. My background is in food science and engineering, and I graduated in El Salvador. I have more than 13 years of culinary experience, and cooking is one of the ways I show care. I hold a Food Worker Card issued by the health department, so I am trained and cleared to handle and serve food safely. For more than three years I have cooked for families in the Seattle area, including two adult family homes. I will not compromise on food safety. That standard comes from my training. For seven years I also volunteered with nonprofit organizations, where I learned how much it means to support someone's mental and emotional well-being. I love listening, sitting with people through real conversations, and simply being present when I am needed. I help others the way I would want to be helped if I were in their place.
