About Sandra

I did 3 1/2 years of private home care for a lady with cerebral palsy. My duties included cooking, cleaning, bathing, feeding and running a few errands. I do have personal experience assisting someone with Alzheimer's/Dementia. I helped care for my grandfather as he had Alzheimer's and Dementia. He had it for about 12 + years and between me and my mom we cared for him. I helped make sure he took his medications. I did all his meal preps. I knew how much he enjoyed his home cooked meals. I also worked at a daycare for 3 years as a teacher assistant. I have experience with children as well. As I have 2 of my own. I love being able to help out and knowing that my assistance is something that does not go unseen. I like to build a good relationship with the person I'm assisting so that we are both comfortable with each other. I take pride that I was raised with manners and taught to have compassion.
