About Sandra

Sandra worked for us for several weeks. She was very qualified and I was pleased with her work. She worked for us on Monday nights and Thursday nights from midnight to 7 AM, staying awake in my 32-year-old daughter's room in case she woke up and needed something. When an aide is not there, my husband and I must care for her all night long. On a Monday, about two weeks ago, Sandra called at 11:50 PM to tell me she was sick and couldn't come. Kind of late to call, but it happens when you don't feel well at the last minute. I gave her the benefit of the doubt. However, on Thursday, she never showed. No phone call, nothing. I emailed her and left her a voice message, asked what was going on and if everything was OK. No answer. Then she didn't show up on the following Monday, so I guess she has quit. I do hope nothing serious has happened, but missing 3 evenings of work, one calling 10 minutes before long after she would have had to leave to get her and two with no notice isn't right.
