I am a dependable and caring mom of a 3-year-old seeking a care giving position. I cared for my husband's grandpa when he was dying of lung cancer for the last year of his life. That was how I first got into care giving and realized how difficult and rewarding it can be. I've cared for a senior citizen who was unable to walk, deaf, and diabetic. And I've also cared for a young woman who was mentally handicapped and suffered from seizures. She was a stroke victim and partially paralyzed. I am hesitant to call her mentally handicapped because she was capable of so much more. I am a people person. I'm friendly and outgoing. And I genuinely like helping others.
