For the past 20 years my primary vocation has been working with special needs children: providing them with ABA, FloorTime therapy, Shadowing them in school, conducting virtual educational lessons, and leading social skills camps/outings. Many of my students have become like family, and I love seeing how they improve and thrive. Occasionally I have taken on babysitting for several of my families to help us both out. Recently I have started a home organization business, I have a keen sense of visual placement and my clients are amazed at how their space is quickly and efficiently transformed.

We have known Sandy for 14 years when she started working with our 2-year-old son with autism. Initially, we hired Sandy to provide a few ABA sessions with our son D on a weekly basis. Sandy and our son bonded immediately. Sandy’s services with our family continued to grow because of her skills as a therapist and her love and patience for our son. Sandy truly has a love for children on the autism spectrum and wants to help them be the best that they can be. When our son was around 4 years old, we decided to create a full-time home-based ABA program with the services of CARD (Center for Autism & Related Disorders). Sandy was the facilitator of the program for our son. Our clinical director with CARD would meet with us quarterly and then semi-annually. She was always very impressed with Sandy and her accomplishments with our son. Our son made major improvements while under Sandy’s therapeutic care. Once our son entered school, Sandy has continued to be in our family’s life. Our son normally attends one to two weeks of camp with Sandy in the summer, which is always a great treat for him. Recently, we went on a zipline outing with me, our son and Sandy. With a child with autism, it is wonderful to be around someone who understands the best way to interact with your child. We worked together as a team to make his ziplining experience a success. The bond between Sandy and our son is still strong. Our son is now 16 years old. He will always say his favorite therapist is Sandy, but she is not just a therapist….she is his friend and a great friend to our family. Sandy’s ABA background and years of experience with working with children on the autism spectrum make her an asset to any organization or family. Her love, patience and passion for helping children on the spectrum is unparallel!
