About Sandie

I have been a lead toddler teacher, program instructor at the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club. I have worked with children of ages 1. 5-16. I also have volunteered at One Step Camp, which is a camp for children that have been diagnosed with Cancer. I am currently volunteering at the Juvenile Detention Center facilitating Yoga for the children in custody. I was recently certified to teach children's yoga and I am a Reiki master. I practice meditation and Bhakti Yoga, which assists me in creating a peaceful, warm, and welcoming environment; I believe in a holistic approach when caring for children. I feel all children want to feel safe, loved, and respected which is something I value and offer. Furthermore, I am very energetic, so I will keep your child active and happy while in my care. I have an abundant amount of experience working and caring for children. I raised two daughters of my own, who are currently 20 and 16. I am a DCFS mandated reporter, CPR, and First Aid Certified.
