I am a compassionate caregiver with an Associates of Arts Degree in Human Development and a Bachelors Degree in Human Services. I am a patient instructor with a background in teaching children and adults. I have had 21 years of experience in working with students in a special education classroom as well as adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting and day program. My recent experience has been caring for adults in their own homes, for those in hospice care as well as adults diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Teaching children and caring for others is where my heart has been since I was in high school. Seeing the joy on the faces of a child who finally mastered that one tough skill or developmental milestone or hearing about the wonderful stories of a lifetime belonging to an elderly adult are the some of the most priceless experiences I have had and hope to continue to have.
