About Sandi

I have worked with an adult with COPD on hospice care, Alzheimer's and Dementia as wells as adults with developmental disabilities. I provided care for the adults in their home, group home and assisted living facility. I administered medication, assisted with physical therapy, occupational therapy, hobbies, cooking activities, daily hygiene, running errands, doctors visits, housekeeping duties and meal preparation. More often than not, seniors would like to stay in their own homes for as long as possible, yet need extra help with their daily living needs. As caregivers to seniors I strongly believe that we should give them the same excellent care and attention as we would give to our own parents and grandparents. Allowing them to remain active and go out into the community is healthy for them as well as boosts their spirits. Listening to seniors talk about their lives, their families, their history never gets old. Seeing the joy on their faces is priceless!
