About Sam

Hi! My name is Sam, and I'm a nanny, gardener, and artist in Crown Heights. In the summers, I work at the Children's Garden in the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and I'm excited to be able to offer 1:1 childcare during the off season from January through March. My background with kids includes teaching juggling at Circus Smirkus camp (ages 8-16), running an after school farm program in Vermont (ages 5-8), and nannying for a 13-month-old in Brooklyn. I love seeing the world through the eyes of children, following their imaginations and wonder. There is nothing better than a day of adventures, art projects, cooking, and trips to the playground. I am detail oriented, punctual, and serious about children's safety. I am attentive to each child's interests, and I love getting to know a young person through regular nannying. I'm looking for a part-time nannying opportunity and am available M-F 8a until 5p. I'm hoping for regular hours with a family, but I'm open to more piecemeal work as well!
