About Samie

Hi there! I’m Samie, and I’m passionate about supporting older adults with compassion, patience, and dignity. While I don’t have formal paid caregiving experience yet, I cared for my Nana for nine months as she lived with Alzheimer’s disease. That experience shaped my heart and my career goals. I’m currently a Social Work major at James Madison University with a minor in Family Studies, focusing on gerontology. I’m hoping to build my career working with the older population, and I’m eager to gain more hands-on experience. I’m comfortable providing companionship, helping with daily tasks, preparing simple meals, and engaging in memory-friendly activities.
