Hi there! I have been working with children in some capacity since I was a teenager. My first job as a teen was babysitting neighborhood kids, and I continued to nanny and babysit throughout college. I transitioned into Early Childhood Education for 3 years and taught preschool and kindergarten aged kids at a Montessori school. Children are such a valuable and important part of our community, I find it to be meaningful to be a part of their growth and nurturing. I also love that being around children allows me to goof around and tap into the child version of myself!

Samia was our nanny for our daughter between 7 and 19 months. We relocated outside of the NYC area and were gutted to lose Samia, as our daughter (and we) had bonded deeply with her. Samia is responsible, responsive, flexible and understanding, and calm. She models positive behavior for young children and has a knowledgable background in childcare. We would recommend Samia wholeheartedly for both short and long-term care, and any family she works with is extremely lucky!
