About Sam

I'd describe my personality as adaptable, open-minded, and determined. I like tutoring because I'd improve someone's learning skills and help them believe in themselves. I'm looking for a job that offers me the flexibility of working from home, be a leader in my students lives, and obtain a work life balance I started tutoring when I was 13, helping my cousins on their English and Math classes during their middle school and elementary years. In 2023, I also tutored and supervised students in library. In my spare time, I like to do my environmental science college courses, play guitar, and learn music production. I'm a very caring individual. I am a firm motivator, and will work patiently with their children. I find creative ways to teach students, such as use Kahoot and would be happy to create a system that also works within their environment. I will try to reinforce a reward system with positive notes. I can ensure taking the necessary breaks for cognitive retention.
