About Sam

I have a bachelors in Developmental Psychology. I recently moved to Chicago to pursue a doctorate in Psychology specifically with families and children. I started working with kids around 12 years-old after getting Red Cross Babysitter certified. I have done babysitting since. During college, I worked in a child care center primarily with infants, but worked with children up to pre-school age. I have also worked in a school with 2nd and 3rd graders. I have also done work tailored toward child mental health such as working in an ABA therapy center and providing in-home skills interventions. My career has been oriented towards how to best support children and families. I feel supporting children supports our future. I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, and ambitious. One thing you should know about me is I bring a lot of research and education into my methods. I have had extensive education on children and development. I am always willing to answer questions or concerns.
