About Samar

We feel incredibly lucky to have had Samar (Miss Sam) as our nanny and cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment we met, we knew she was someone special. Having children close in age ended up being one of the greatest gifts for our family, and watching their friendship grow alongside the bond she built with our child was something we’ll always treasure. Her background in early childhood education gave us so much confidence during the infant and toddler years. She respected our parenting style while bringing thoughtful experience and perspective when appropriate. She was endlessly patient, kind, and calm, communicated with our child so respectfully, and always kept us informed with thoughtful daily updates and clear communication if anything unexpected happened. She was also incredibly flexible with our changing schedules, especially around naps and the unpredictability that comes with young children. She made our lives easier, gave us complete peace of mind, and cared for our child with genuine love and attention. She is truly a gem of a person, and any family would be fortunate to welcome her into their home. We are only saying goodbye because our family’s needs have changed—not because we ever wanted to. If circumstances were different, we would have happily kept her with us. She has our wholehearted recommendation, and we’ll continue singing her praises wherever we can.
