Hello, I am Samara and I have tutored several students in math and have been working with Deaf and Hard of Hearing students everyday at their schools! I'm a ASL Interpeter and I love math and ASL! I'd describe my personality as patient, supportive, and knowledgeable! I like tutoring because of the moments I see the students get a lightbulb moment- when a concept seemed so out of reach but finally seems clear and manageable. Building confidence in subjects are one of my favorite things to do! I started tutoring when I was in middle school. I started tutoring my neighbors' son for his elementary math class. In my spare time, I like to play board games, read, and spend time with my husband, close friends, and family.
