There has never been a time in my life when I have not been around animals. I got my very first puppy at the age of 3 for Christmas, and have had everything from fish, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs, iguanas, birds to cats and dogs since then. As an adult, all of my animals have been rescue animals and I volunteered at the SPCA when I lived in Richmond, VA. Unfortunately, I am currently living in an apartment so I'm unable to have a dog here because I believe in them having a nice yard to play in. I do have a cat though that I've had since he was about 6 weeks old, he's 9 now. All that being said, I would very much enjoy caring for your furry family members while you are away, or whatever the situation may be.
