I've been a caregiver and supervisor with the Arc of the Ozarks for the last two and a half years. My time spent with the Arc has been the most rewarding piece of my life. While it is my job to assist the individuals there in becoming their own person, I feel that it is my clients who have been teaching me. I have learned to be patient in ways I never thought possible. I have learned that words are not the only way of communication that counts. I have learned that everyone in this world has a strong voice inside of their minds and their hearts and that by taking the time to learn about someone we can understand that no matter what the communication barrier may be. I would love to continue empowering individuals of all abilities to let their personality and their heart shine.
