About Samantha

As a step mother, the oldest of six children, and an employee of the Arc of the Ozarks I love what I do. Providing care for individuals with all abilities is the most rewarding part of my life. I have spent the last two and a half years as a Medical Support Professional and have supervised a home for about half that time. Day to day tasks for me include hygiene needs, grocery shopping, medication administration, transportation, and spending quality time together. I held a position at a Day Care teaching and caring for a group of 2-year-old children and quite often spending my extra shifts in the infant room. I've also babysat over the years and was my Mom's little helper since the age of six with so many siblings around. I've tutored in many subjects and have some college credit while I am still working towards my Bachelors Degree. I am the proud step mother of a kind, witty 3-year-old and emphasize the importance of reading, learning, and asking all of the questions in the world.
