About Samantha

I started by babysitting for family which I occasionally traveled with for about 3 years. I have also worked at two different fitness centers within the child care departments. The fitness center that I am at currently is fast paced. We watch infants from 6 weeks old to teens 13 years old. We watch over children as the parents workout and help with snacks. We also run physical activities for the toddlers when they turn 2 through age 13. We also are running craft time and other activities. I have a personal liking for crafts and I always have. Aside from the fitness center, I nannied for my 2-year-old niece and 6-year-old nephew, talk about a handful. I have watched them ever since they were newborns and I have plenty of experience with newborns. I have completed tasks such as putting my nephew on and off the bus while caring for my niece. During the day we have lunch, play outside, go to the gym, run errands, clean up around the house, read books and have nap/quiet time. I loved watching them but had to get away from working for family members. I currently am a nanny for a wonderful 10-month-old boy. I have watched him since he was 4 months old. I work with him a few days a week and just looking for other opportunities to work some more hours. Overall, I am very nurturing and efficient and I have a great passion for what I do.
