About Samantha

Hi! My name is Samantha, and I recently earned my Master's degree from UConn. Through my experience as a Graduate Assistant, instructor, and Career Resource Advisor, I have helped students build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and reach their goals. I specialize in writing support, reading comprehension, study skills, organization, time management, and college readiness. I can also help with college essays, resumes, career exploration, and general academic planning. As a first-generation college graduate, I understand that school can feel overwhelming, and I'm passionate about helping students feel more confident and supported. My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student's needs. I am bilingual in English and Portuguese and have experience supporting students from diverse backgrounds.
