About Samantha

I am a part time babysitter looking for sporadic or recurring jobs after work or on the weekends. As the oldest of 5, I have spent a lot of time around young children and infants. I have always enjoyed working with kids. As a teen I babysat for many local families and taught preschool VBS classes. In university I gained experience working with older children as a tutor and a music camp counselor. In these experiences I learned how to support homesick children, encourage learning, and create fun all day long. A bit about me: I have been living in Houston for 6 months now, working at NASA after graduating with my B. S. in Computer Science. In my spare time, I like to lift and play piano and guitar. I am happy to meet up before babysitting to get to know a family better. I will strive to make your children feel relaxed and have fun just as my fantastic babysitter used to do for me.
