I have personal experience caring for family members who are navigating recovery post-surgery and other health issues like cancer and Parkinson's. I have helped with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and companionship. I love to play games, read, and be outside when the weather is nice. I can help with errands or grocery shopping too. I love getting to know new people and learn about their stories! I'd describe my personality as empathetic, caring, and compassionate. I like caring for seniors because I love getting to know their stories and learning about their interests. I think everyone needs a good listening ear, someone to provide companionship, and someone who can help them as needed while honoring their dignity. In my spare time, I like to read all kinds of books, including memoirs, romance, and suspense books. I also love to play a variety of board and card games. I love being outdoors and doing things like hiking, camping, and kayaking.
