About Samantha

Hi! My name is Samantha, and I'm working toward my degree in Early Childhood Special Education. I have several years of experience, mainly in preschool special education, working with children with different developmental, communication, and learning needs, including children who use AAC devices. I love creating fun, hands-on activities like crafts, sensory play, reading, music, outdoor play, and learning through play. I'm patient, dependable, and always focus on each child's individual needs. I'm also a WSI-certified swim instructor and have taught children as young as 1-year-old. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and take safety and communication with families seriously. I'm moving to the Pittsburgh area on September 1st and hope to find a family I can build a trusting, long-term relationship with.
