About Samantha

Hello! I am a third year college student at U majoring in music education. I really enjoy hanging out with and nurturing kids, especially 9-13-year-olds. I have worked at the YMCA summer camp for 2 years now. There, I would spend 8. 5 hours every weekday with my group that would range from 15-25 kids a day. We would go on field trips, go swimming, and do wide range of activities. The YMCA has many rules that I have been familiarized with, including safety precautions and policies, how to handle situations between kids, and many medical protocols that have informed me of how to take action when needed. I have also been certified in first aid and CPR, and have taken many training courses and seminars that were required at the YMCA. I have worked with kids 5 years old and older. I will also be a full time college student, but will be available from however early you need me to however late you need me on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and weekends, with a couple of exceptions.
