My name is Samantha. I'm a creative and compassionate caretaker who loves crafts, reading stories, music, and open-ended play. I have my bachelor's degree but am applying for graduate school for speech therapy. I spent last summer working at a camp for children with ASD, learning, speech and language delays and learned a ton. In the past, I worked one-on-one with a 5-year-old during the heat of Covid, but spent the past 3 years nannying two tween girls - one of which had high-functioning ASD. I have over 15 years of experience as a babysitter and camp counselor -- but have been a caretaker pretty much my entire life as the eldest of three. I am open to collaborating with teachers, SLPs, OTs and other clinicians you work with to better support your child.
