I have spent the past 20 years working in a wide capacity with children and young adults. I got my BA in Early Childhood Education. I broadened my formal education to explore outdoor education and therapeutic gardening with young adults with varying abilities. I finished the Foundation Year for Waldorf Teacher Training in Eugene in 2020 and then took a new exciting path where I started caregiving for seniors. This has taken my life in a beautiful and fulfilling new direction. I love learning from my clients and honoring their needs in the moment. I have a deep capacity for patience and empathy which makes this work incredibly fulfilling and brings purpose. I love to garden and cook. I love animals and music.

Sam is so incredibly kind, caring, empathetic, thoughtful and responsible. She has been helping my mom for over a year and during that time has simply been wonderful. My mom, who has Alzheimer's, feels Sam's sincere care and it really makes a difference. Because my mom is so comfortable and feels so cared about by Sam, we have increased Sam's shifts and responsibilities over the last year. Whenever all the family is going to be out of town at the same time, it is always Sam that we rely on most heavily. I really can't say enough good things about Sam.
