About Samantha

I began my journey in hospitality as I've worked in a retirement home as a server, a Med Tech and an activities director. My partner's grandmother was diagnosed with dementia and we provided in home care for almost 5 years instead of putting her in a retirement home. During that time I helped create a care plan for grandma that was submitted and accepted by the board of physicians hospital where a plaque sits on the 9th floor in honor of her outstanding care. Tenderly Hospice even shared that she was so well cared for that even in passing she smelled clean with perfume. I think that with patience and love a lot of frustration can be avoided as sometimes we just communicate differently.
