My daughter was getting straight As in school but her testing results told me a different story. When I asked her teacher about the low reading scores I was told she met the benchmark and was doing great! In reality, she was struggling to read. Her teacher's answer made me realize she wasn't going to get the help she needed so decided to try homeschooling. I started her below grade level, and by the next year she was far beyond. She now enjoys upper high school level material at age 12! I'd love to help more children gain skills and confidence in reading, it's truly a game changer, and so rewarding to be part of. I have an Associate's in Education.
