Open communication, reliability, and trustworthiness are essential qualities when hiring a nanny, and unfortunately, we did not experience these with Samantha. She worked with our family for three weeks. During that time, we invested significant effort helping her get onboarded and comfortable, including assisting with resources like Care.com and covering her background screening. The reasons she shared for leaving were issues that could have been discussed earlier, rather than leaving us unexpectedly in a difficult position. We wish things could have ended differently.
