About Samantha

I've always gotten along with kids. We are constantly having fun and learning from each other, playing games, using our imaginations, or problem-solving something interesting. My method of caregiving is to the standard of having my own children. I respect them and am attentive to their needs while being able to set rules to follow. I enjoy fostering the natural interest of a child, exploring what things they are already engaged in. I am also very comfortable teaching anything I am skilled in including cooking, sewing, crochet and knitting, dance, and body movement. There are so many ways to learn; crafting, telling stories, games or sports are all welcome forms of development and entertainment. In regards to discipline, I honor the parent's decision for the best course of action. I am open-minded about options to explore with each family that everyone is comfortable with. I do not condone violence of any kind.
