About Samantha

Hello! My name is Samantha. I am currently a sophomore in college. I am known as a kind, friendly, and supportive person. All qualities that I believe are important in increasing content understanding/retention and fostering a positive tutoring relationship. I have experience as a tutor, babysitter, summer school teacher, and childcare worker. I am a major of Medical Biology (Pre-Med) with a minor in Applied Mathematics at the University of New England. I have a passion for both STEM fields and children. Interestingly, I have been requested as a tutor for other students, that I did not know, due to the positive outcomes of my tutoring (increased comprehension, class participation, and test scores). My greatest win was back in December I began tutoring an 8th grader who had C minuses in Math, Science, and Spanish. We worked together and she finished 8th grade with honors. An A in Math and Science and a B+ in Spanish. I would love to learn more about the care that you are looking for!
