About Samantha

I'd describe my personality as energetic, imaginative, and warm. I like working with kids because it allows me to tap into my creativity. There is no other job that presents the same challenges and opportunities to learn such as caring for children. I'm looking for a family that is willing to provide a steady schedule; to be the caregiver you trust during your work week. Besides babysitting as a teen, I was a nanny throughout my undergraduate. Today, I work as a lead sensory motor coach to children on the autism spectrum. In my spare time, I like to weight lift. It is the best way to start my day and keep my mind and body disciplined. One thing you should know about me is I deeply care about the wellbeing of not just children, but the family unit as a whole. My skills include behavior management, extensive experience with children on the autism spectrum, and a deep understanding of developmental psychology through cognition and sensory motor therapy.
