I took care of my mother after she had several strokes along with my aunt who didn't have the strength to bathe or clothed herself and would go to my grandmother's apt to help clean, manage her medicine, grocery shop and meal prep. Little after my mom and aunt passed away, my grandmother moved in with me and took care of her from 2019 to 2022 until her son decided to put her in a retirement home. I also volunteered at a retirement home pre covid, where a family friend was staying. What we would do: play cards, paint/color, puzzles, go for walks/market, bake/cook, and of course talk. I have great references. Im currently providing morning care to a sweet elderly woman who has dementia in Glendale for a year and half, 7 days a week.
