I am entering my 3rd year as a Special Education Teacher, with extensive experience working with children with autism and other developmental needs in a specialized 6:1:1 setting. I have experience supporting nonverbal and minimally verbal children using AAC devices, PECS, communication boards, and visual supports. I am skilled in individualized instruction, behavior and sensory supports, and positive reinforcement. I especially enjoy working one-on-one with children to build communication, academic, social, and independence skills.
