About Samantha

Hello! I love spending time with kids and have experience nannying and babysitting for around 7 years. I just finished my Bachelor's Degree in Child Development. I worked in an elementary school in which I started as a sub, became a Kindergarten paraeducator, and finally a Third Grade teacher. This coming year, I have decided to take a "Gap Year" from teaching to spend more time traveling and teaching internationally. I have already been to Costa Rica, Peru, and a few countries in Europe, and would like to still travel to Nepal, Thailand, Bali and a few more countries in Europe. While in the USA, I will be home for about 3 months at a time that I would love to help out with one-time babysitting, cover for weeks that a recurring babysitter needs off, or do date night sitting. Some things that I find important while being around kids is making everyday life a learning experience and fostering curiosity while holding reliable and reasonable expectations and being a positive role model.
