About Samantha

Hello! My name is Samy and I am 23 years old and just moved to Wilmington! Prior to moving, I worked as a caregiver/nanny for many years. I am the oldest of 4 siblings, my youngest brother being on the Spectrum for Autism. Apart from him, I have learned a lot about behavioral disabilities through my studies at VCU. I was a special education major and spent a lot of time learning/understanding developmental disorders. I worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT) for roughly a year as well, contributing to my knowledge. In High School I completed an Early Childhood and Teacher Cadet course, both of which prepared me for the field of childcare. I am CPR First Aid certified, and truly have a passion for caretaking. I'm looking forward to growing my skills and love for this field!
