About Samantha

Hi, I'm Sammy! I'm 22 now, but I started babysitting when I was 11 years old in 2014, and have not stopped since! (Big thank you to my neighbors for putting so much trust in a 5th grader) I enjoy working with children because I believe they are all some of the most intuitive, creative, resilient, compassionate, (+comedic) little people I know. It's refreshing to slow down and get on a kid's level :) My skills include, but are not limited to, remaining calm under stress, open and honest communication, maintaining a safe and enriching play environment for varying ages, and infant care (changing diapers, bottle feeding, nap time, etc.) In my spare time I like to create art, listen to music, journal, hang out with my 3 pets, and do anything outdoors. I work as a part-time pet sitter currently (outside of my home), but am open to babysitting whenever I am able. I'd be happy to chat about my availability, as it tends to be more on the random side.
