About Samantha

I recently moved to Gig Harbor after finishing my art degree at Southern Methodist University. I've been working with children off and on since I was around 12, and have three years of experience teaching art and fine motor skills. When I babysit or nanny I like to pull kids away from the TV and video games and either get them involved in a game or an arts and crafts project. I'm very careful to make sure the house is clean when I'm done working. I'm also available to pet sit, run errands, and help with anything else you need. (: I also offer shorter, more directed "tutoring" for children who are preschool age working on getting ready for kindergarten. These usually run from an hour to an hour and a half, and feature an educational (but still fun!) art project, aimed at teaching basic educational and behavior skills needed for school.
