About Samantha

My name is Samantha and I have a 13-year-old daughter and a lifetime of experience with children both professionally and personally. I am a licensed independent social worker (LISW) who is considering taking a break from the field. I have worked in foster care and mental health for over 15 years. I also substitute teach. I have over 6 years of experience as a Girl Scout leader and previously coached little league soccer and softball. I have cared for children in my home in the past. I hope to find children to care for that will be as excited about our daily adventures as we are and that my own daughter can engage with as well! I have years of experience with children and I am CPR certified. We enjoy crafts, music, games, the theater and the outdoors! I have reliable transportation and would like children to be able to go to the park, zoo, etc with us. I strongly encourage learning through play and teach manners and respect.
