I provide highly individualized care based on the family's values and the child's needs & interests; I am never the same nanny twice. I believe children have an innate yearning to learn and be challenged; I strive to facilitate that inquisitive nature. I love the outdoors and have forest school teacher training. I enjoy outings to libraries, museums, playgrounds, hiking trips, & farmers markets. I have experience with newborns as young as 3 weeks to teenagers up to 14, international families, multiples, children with special needs, dietary restrictions, collaborating with therapists, and positive discipline. I would prefer a position with my 1. 5 yo son but am open to opportunities without him, $17/hr with $22 w/o. I will expect guaranteed hours, 2 weeks PTO plus 6 holidays.

I can I possibly say enough good things about Samantha. She is one of the most engaged, intentional, and wonderful caregivers we have ever had. She taught our little boy sign language, and completely awakened his language interest. He would always clap when she arrived. I was very impressed at how she would come with plans for how she wanted to spend the time with him, often bringing toys and books from home that were developmentally appropriate for what he was interested in at that time. We were heartbroken when she needed to move away. We continue to miss her!
