I am a passionate and experienced educator and special needs caregiver with a strong background supporting children with diverse learning and developmental needs. I hold a Master's degree in Education and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential, and I have served as a lead elementary school teacher for two years, following three years as a substitute teacher across multiple grade levels. In the classroom, I have extensive experience supporting students with IEPs and special needs, collaborating with support teams, differentiating instruction, and creating inclusive, structured environments where all students can succeed. In addition to my teaching background, I bring four years of paid experience as a special needs caregiver, working with both children and adults with a variety of needs, including autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.

I seriously cannot say enough great things about Samantha! She has been a huge part of our family for the past year helping care for our 1 year old baby girl, puppy, and occasionally my nephew with autism. Her knowledge of child development has made every day a super fun learning experience for our baby girl, she understands what our baby needs extra help with and she creates activities to help encourage her to practice developing those skills. Ever since Samantha has joined our family our baby has grown and excelled in so many ways! Her vocabulary has expanded tremendously because Samantha spends the time to talk to and explain everything to baby girl. We're very fortunate to leave home knowing our baby is in the best hands, and I will recommend Samantha to everyone I know that needs childcare.
