About Samantha

Nurturing young minds is a genuine passion of mine, and I'm eager to positively impact children's lives. My goal is to become a teacher, and I believe that my experience in childcare will help me grow as an educator. I have a graduate degree and coursework in Early Child Development. I have one year of experience caring for children, and I am comfortable caring for one child at a time. My approach is patient, calm, creative, friendly, and approachable. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational games with children. I communicate with parents through written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, and regular updates via text or phone call. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I am also willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and travel. I am in the process to being certified for CPR and first aid.
