About Samantha

I am an energetic and creative 28-year-old with over eight years of educational experience in face-to-face roles with children across the age range. I am passionate about giving children safe and routine-focused opportunities to explore their interests and learn! I am formally trained in critical educational theory and deeply value providing support for children to develop independence and critical thinking through experiential learning and play. Ideally, I would like to work with clients focused on providing educational opportunities for their children over the summer alongside fun, enriching outings. I additionally have multiple years of experience in tutoring, college and career counseling, standardized test prep, and writing coaching. I look forward to taking on tutoring clients at this time. In my personal time, I love to cook, explore the city, hike and identify native plants, and read. I am an English PhD student, focusing on anti-racism in literature and culture.
