About Samantha

Hi! I'm Sam, a stay at home mom to my amazing 3-month-old daughter. Before becoming a mom, I worked in outdoor education in Yosemite, helping lead and coordinate youth and family programs. Before college, I babysat throughout high school and worked at a daycare during the summers in Los Angeles. My husband is a first responder in Mariposa and works 72-hour shifts Wednesday through Friday. On his days off (Saturday through Tuesday), I'd love to pick up some nannying or babysitting work and lend a helping hand to local families and visitors! I may also be available on some of his work days and could potentially bring my daughter along for shorter periods if that's something everyone is comfortable with. I am Infant CPR certified and spent two years as an LA County Fire Department Lifeguard Cadet. I bring a calm, responsible, and caring approach to childcare and genuinely enjoy spending time with kids. I'd love to chat and see if I might be a good fit for your family!
