I'm an experienced paraprofessional working on my masters degree in Communication Disorders to pursue certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. I worked at a specialty school for three years, supporting students with visual impairments, reduced hearing, cognitive disabilities, and developmental delays. I currently work as a paraprofessional in a special education preschool classroom (for the last two years) where I support students 3-5 who are on the autism spectrum. I like to connect with children through their interests and see their potential for growth and independence when possible.
