Hi! My name is Samantha and I am currently going into my junior year at Penn State University! I am enrolled in the School Of Education, majoring in Special Education, with a minor in Rehabilitation and Human Services. In 2019, I worked at a Day Camp as a one on one counselor with varying children whom live with a variety of special needs. I spent the majority summer counseling a 6-year-old boy who lives with Sensory Integration Disorder and impulse control, who I then went on to babysit periodically whenever I was home from school, however, due to the pandemic and his immunocompromised status, that job has been on hold. Additionally, I spent smaller portions of the summer counseling a 4-year-old girl who lives with Attention-Deficit/ Hyperactivity Disorder and an 8-year-old boy who was experiencing a seizure disorder. Further, this past year I volunteered for a week at outdoor school. I can provide references upon request. I will be home until mid/late August
