About Samantha

I have been babysitting children since I was 12 years old. I aided my single mother in raising three younger siblings, the youngest of whom is 10 years my junior and was often in my care while my mother worked. I was hired as a mother's helper in 2015. Due to changing circumstances within the family, I was employed for a relatively short amount of time, but my responsibilities included cleaning the house, aiding her elderly mother-in-law, and looking after her two children. The children, aged 2 years and 3 months, required constant supervision and enrichment, while balancing the needs of one child's chronic illness. I have tutored students in maximizing their PSAT, SAT, AP, and final examination scores using multiple learned strategies as well as some of my own personally-crafted techniques. I also spent two years coordinating care of 400+ minors at a time as part of Boston University's High School Summer Programs, including crafting seminars and field trips.
